Create new component and symbol from a schematic

• Start a new schematic or use an existing one
• Draw you symbol needed in the schematic
• Select all the parts
• Group the parts by right clicking on it and selecting Group Objects from the “Join and Group” sub-menu.
• Click No in the message box
• Select the grouped symbol and select Add to Library to start the “Add to Library” wizard
• Click next and select HydroSym Symbol File (.sym) and HydroSym Component File (.hcf)
• Name the symbol and select you library folder. Click next to save the symbol file.
• Name the component and select your library folder. Under Component Data you can save any additional data such as the datasheet or weight.
• Click Next to get a summary. If the changes look correct, press Execute. The wizard will close and the symbol and component will be added to you library.
